SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Finally, a Debate!

Honestly, I was impressed by the civil discourse.  Rare these days.

Incredibly rare.

This one could possibly be turned...

You two spent more time agreeing than disagreeing, but it was worth it. Props to CW for being willing to debate on your channel.

There's so much I don't know about the 2010s OSR culture wars. Is there a timeline somewhere?

Also, now that it's been shown that one can sue these people and get a retraction and settlement from them, do you intend to take that path?

Pretty sure that unlike Zak, Pundit has better things to do with his time.

It's not my plan to. In most cases, settlements are likely to be very small, so not worth it. I already outlined in other locations why attempting to sue WotC over removing my name would fail (it's the same reason Zak didn't succeed at it, because WotC covered their asses by removing ALL the consultants from the credits). And the rest of these people are perennially broke anyways.

My best revenge is living well. Of the people they attacked, I think I was the one that came out it all in the strongest position. Raggi and Grim both took more damage, and Zak was essentially destroyed by it (though the real damage to him happened more due to Mandy's claims, which the Wokists latched on to).
