This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Dumarest;1002959So, I kind of want to play a cheesy 1970s-style Italian  sci fi  sexploitation movie RPG with poor special effects and the occasional Star Wars ripoff, a la the inimitable Star Crash:

I supposed I could use Traveller or West End Games' Star Wars for that, but Traveller seems like it would require a lot of work for the starships and character creation to make any sense and Star Wars would have the issue of expectations that the game will be Star Wars (that is, once you break out the Star Wars books and have them at the table it's hard to remember you're not in the Star Wars universe).

Are there any games that are not a square peg for the round hole of Star Crash? It's got to have bad mystical powers like Akton had, robots like Elle, FTL spaceships zooming around, and sexy swimsuit-style spacesuits.
