This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

IRON HEROES on the way :D

Executioner, Harrier and Weapon Master. Like all IH classes they're distinct enough to feel like you're not treading on anyones niche, with each providing a very different approach to the tactical aspects of combat

A two-weapon fighting Executioner with the right combo of feats can be outright terror in the correct circumstances, whilst the enhanced mobility of the Harrier lends itself very well to a support role that opens opponents up for massive damage potential via stunt-fueled flanking. The Weapon Master with it's enhanced attacks and feat progression is one of the bulldozer classes, especially when utilising stuff from the Power Mastery lists.

The only class I'm lukewarm to is the Hunter, it's a little too focused on support for my tastes.

IH is ok. A little more crunchy than standard D&D and I'm not sure If I like all the chips and stuff like that. But if you are looking for a game where there is no magic and combat is paramount, this is the one.

I havent gotten a chance to play yet. Let alone create a character. but my favorite classes so far a re the Archer, Berserker, and weapon master.

I kinda like the Executioner and Hunter, and _don't_ like the too generic Thief and Man-at-Arms character, who just don't fit in. Even more than the Arcanist, if you ask me... (Not that the implementation of some classes wouldn't need improvement. Once again, Hong does the right thing. IYKWIM, AITYD)

I love the Thief. Much more than just the sneaky-stabby iteration of 3.5, in my opinion. With the Political Mastermind feats you can make a decent attempt at taking over an entire city. Cool stuff.

Yeah I need to make a few characters up. I've searched and searched, anyone know where I can find a good IH character sheet ? Weird that the IH webpages does not include any online.

I played a Weapon Master, which was cool except that their method of getting tokens is a bit rubbish. We changed it so that they kept tokens for all opponents in a fight rather than just one at a time. This was to get round the fact that by the time I had enough tokens to do anything fancy, I'd normally already won.

Iron Heroes is great for having PCs compete (in a friendly way) for kills in an attempt to prove their fighting style is the best. I was always neck and neck with the berserker.

Yesterday while wanting on a few of my players to show up. Me and one of my players went over IH together. He feel in "love" with the Berserker class for a few reasons. Berserkers fight like he does in real life. He liked how Berserkers gain Fury tokens. He is a huge Conan fan.

Once the others arrived we talked alittle more about IH as a group. The others like several classes.
