This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: StormBringer;277868The Acaeum is a bit outdated, but they list first printing as " Box VF,
    Books VF/NM:
$5100* (7/06)".  So, two years ago, they were saying the expected value was in the $5k range, and that doesn't mention original packaging or shrinkwrap.

Ah, but that's Brown Box (wood grain) D&D. Same game, different box color. Also, hobbits. I got my White Box for less than $100.

It was sold by this used book store in Oakland, which otherwise specialized in world literature and such, and wanted to get rid of this oddity.

We un-shrinkwrapped it in the store to check the books. They are PRISTINE.

Needless to say, I kept the shrinkwrap.

Ghost Whistler

How can I tell if SW is the right system for me?

Anyone know what's happening with licensing the d6 system?
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

As you haven't gamed for years, only you can answer that question.

I suggest downloading the free Test Drive from their site and giving it a try.

If you like the Test Drive, you will like the full rules even better.

There are 100+ One Shot adventures from a wide selection of genre available for free too, HERE.
