This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Dominus NoxOk, does the iridium system have hit locations? I kinda consider those important to me as a gamer, the last game I liked without hit locations was spacemaster, and even then I wishes it had called hit locations.
Iridium has ten hit locations in two sets, one for Fortitude (the juicy parts) and one for Armor (the crunchy parts). When swinging for a spot, you roll to hit, if you hit then you roll a skill called Targeting, Targeting must be taken in the weapon being used (yes, it is a bit redundant that you need to take targeting with a short sword and a machete but it is for game balance reasons). If targeting is successful, you choose the location, failed and and you roll a d10 for random location. So, yes you wear big helmets and massive chest plates (and depending on who you play with, a cod piece of doom!).

When you look around you have to wonder,
Do you play to win or are you just a bad loser?
