This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

If you think they can do as good a job with their as Cublicle 7 did with Middle Earth in Adventure in Middle Earth then the answer is yes it worth hopping into. One thing to check for (or ask) is how much modification they do to the various lists (classes, abilities, etc). It could be just more feats, monsters, stuff, and items much like many of the 3e splatbooks. Or it would be a reworked list of stuff that make for a new interesting type of campaign in their setting.

I've looked at quite a bit of it but getting opinions of D&D vets is a good idea. One aspect my crappy Search Fu hasn't learned much about it how useful it is once the campaign's over. How much meat is in the setting section for continuing play? Etc. I was hoping somebody might know.

I'm honestly torn as I prefer 13th Age and Savage Worlds over 5e, but 5e has some very cool things for it.

Just ordered a copy; sounds like a better than average campaign with very JRPG art.

I has it.

For the non-cognoscenti among us:

It is basically a full blown campaign setting + adventure path.

I wanted it because I am a sucker for heroic bronze age RPG ideas based on the greek myths and legends. So I backed the kickstarter.

They delivered everything they said they would.

Seriously, I got maps for places on their maps:

Well, it looks pretty. Is it any good? I presume it's not OSR...

It's 5e D&D so OSR-influenced via the consultancy process. :p
