This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Nox, Greg Porter owes you a beer or something, since without this thread I doubt I would have bought any of it.

I just bought a copy of Ythrek, too, but maybe I shouldn't let Nox know that I bought it from e23. ;)

So did I, oops...

I really like e23's download as often as you want policy, it makes me much happier buying because if I lose the file I can just redownload it.

Quote from: Dominus NoxI looked up both Stuff! and Big book o' tech on cessna's sandbox and neither of them were reviewed. I found very little BTRC stuff in the review section there at all.

I was just going to suggest that people here who like them might want to post reviews on the purple toilet just to see if they get any attention.

BTW, I know that BTRC has conversion guidelines to convert their stuff to gurps, does big book o' tech?

Since it's just recently released, the only review of the BBoT is Mike Crowe's here on the RPG Site, which I pointed to in my post. However, since it's a compilation of pdf releases, some of the pdfs have been reviewed on RPGnow. Unflrtunately, RPGNow is currently down. I'll post some links as soon as I can access it.

The BBoT has no conversion guidelines, but like GURPS sourcebooks it generally deals in real world stats, and when it doesn't, it uses percentiles, so it should be fairly easy to cenvert to anything, as Mike pointed out in his review.

BTW, what do peeps here think of "Guns, guns, guns" from BTRC?
RPGPundit is a fucking fascist asshole and a hypocritial megadouche.

Smilin' Jack's Used Spaceships - note the problem with the readability is fixed since this review...

That's actually overkill for my needs.  I found 'More Guns^3!' to be more useful, since it provides a load of pre-made weaponry.  Whenever I need to design my own, I actually found the much briefer guidelines in the 'Vehicle Design Manual' to be a better fit when I was using CORPS.  For EABA, 'Stuff!' is easier and more to the point, especially with the provided spreadsheet.

I've personally not had a need for the level of detail in 'Guns! Guns! Guns!', but I've known several more technical gamers who loved it.
