This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: O'BorgI spent many, many years playing around in a fantasy RP chat that was uncannily similar to EOI :D

That's pretty much my experience as well, with the exception of me running screaming after about two days.:D

Well JA, they are small, strong women...like I said, could be attractive in a Lili Taylor kind of way ( at least in WoW, I don't think in regular D&D they are like this) :D

The first three pictures for WOW though are GNOMES, not Dwarves...the bottom two are Dwarves.

Well, they are all pretty sweet. Not sure where Dave's getting the Lili Taylor comparison though.

Not exactly Oblivion level graphics, is it?
That actually puts me off the game, they're far too cutesy

A common complaint actually. (and LOTR Online as is proper has no Dwarf women.)

True! And as a former developer, I can attest to many a conversation about female dwarves and the lack thereof. There's no official answer, AFAIK, and all the mention of bearded dwarf women is all heresay, speculation and rumor including Aragorn's comment in the LoTR movies).

But that's LoTR. D&D 3*e's female dwarves don't have beards, as you can tell from the game's artwork.

The real question: do dwarf women have penises?

Dr Rotwang!

Bwahahahahaha! That's pathetic on that 13-years-old level of "if I draw spikes, skulls and red on it, it becomes KEWL!".

Most graphic designers in WoW must be retarded 13 year old, as you get more powerful items they get more idiotic and ugly.
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

Oh yes, the various armor sets for higher-level characters range from fugly to downright moronic in design- especially the shoulders.

Maybe it was designed to hit WoW's target audience of 13 year olds, and deliberately not look too like a serious game to Concerned D'n'D-is-Evil Parents?

In comparison to one of my Oblivion characters :

Thats a full set of Glass Armour (minus helm) which is the best of the Light Armours you can get in the standard game. With a few permanent effect enchantments her armour is way above the game-max of 85% without helmet or sheild.
I'd prefer a few more armour styles really. I ought to go see what MODs are available.
