This is ridiculous.  Obviously, dwarf chicks have tiny bills, feathers, and talons but beards?  They would get in the way when pecking.

Just out of curiosity, why more slender?  As analogs to human physique, all of the slender bits of the human female form (i.e. the torso between the shoulders and hips) are de-emphasised on a female dwarf, which might make her look even less slender than her male counterpart.  Unless you're suggesting that they are overall more diminutive than the males.

Dvegr in my FRPG are "Dwarves" both male and female can tend towards the same body types as humans--males do develop beards and even gray earlier, but you will find handsome dwarf men, and lovely dwarf maids--they just happen  to be smaller due to being denser (Hearts of Steel and Bones of Stone)

They also can't swim (sink like a stone.)

Depends on the game world for us. The only time I have played a female PC it was a Dwarf with a beard though...

Unless you actually get inside a dwarf stronghold, you never see a female dwarf and as such the answer is moot.
