You are correct. They cancelled the show without giving us a finale.

The fact that Eric was jewish and unpopular while the Nazi was popular and had all the chicks occured to me a while ago (largely because I always empathised with Eric as a kid).  But Presto as the decadent Intellectual and bobby and the cudgel-waving enforcer only really struck me as I was writing the post.

I'm just playing around with an idea really and as with most of this kind of stuff, once you pick up on a few broad themes, it's easy to see Nazis and repressed Freudian sexuality everywhere you look.

For example, in the clip, why is Tiamat chasing a tiny unicorn?  With its head of multiple colours, you could see Tiamat as representing multiculturalism and the alliance of different nations that put down the Axis.  Uni clearly represents the sentimentalism and faux-pagan mysticism that was embraced by the SS.  In effect, the forces of multiculturalism are chasing down germanic morals and beliefs but, in so doing, drives it only further into the arms of the loyal but simple-minded lumpenprolatariat.

I'd say Bobby represents fascism, because he carries a club- this is representative of the classic roman Fasces- the ceremonial item used to symbolize the beatings and executions that enforce public order. Notably he acts as  (could this name be any more nordic?) Eric's representative in the group, keeping the others in line.

(EDIT: ) Or wait.. Eric was the cavalier. Who was the ranger guy again?

Also, I'll note that the black female character wasn't merely an acrobat, she was a thief-acrobat. Whereas the girl with the invisibility cloak, merely represent the 'cultural thievery' of middle class suburbiana.
