Max, you know I love you. And I think you can clearly see that I enjoy the lack of moderation on these boards as much as you do. And that's just it, if I'm going to flame, I'm going to flame BIG! It's the Internet after all. I figured since I had already been tried and hanged by the boards, I could hurl a few from the gallows.

I certainly wouldn't call Luke a vanity publisher, he's obviously worked very hard to promote BW, as have a handful of other guys from the Forge. -- The RPG Pundit

Its pretty cool for a fantasy heartbreaker, but I'm not sure I'd pay for it.

The long defunct video game review site OldManMurray.com used to have a saying "If it was found that Hitler had designed a FPS in his final days in the bunker, I would give it a try and hope that it was good."  Not that I think Luke is Hitler.  I just always found that a funny way of expressing the same sentiment as yours.

Me, I have trouble separating author and game sometimes.  F'rex, I'm still kinda mad at Sorenson and Wick for that stupid hoax thing and don't plan to buy anything from them anytime soon.  Not that I'm buying a lot of gamestuff nowadays anyhow.

I post here for more or less the same reasons. But you know, I can't shake the feeling that sooner or later, all that swine stuff and indie hate is going to overwhelm the board. Not in an avalache of game hate threads, but rather a slow acting poison that will work it's way to many different threads.

Nice try, but I'm not biting on that one.

Anyway, those are the Classic pdfs. It's a good game, but BWR's better. Better writing, cleaner mechanics, clearer layout. Check it out.
