This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

How much would you pay for...

Honestly, nothing.

It sounds like something that should be folded into a larger project/pdf as part of an injury/medicine/healing expansion or some such.  I wouldn't buy the larger project either unless it had rules for something like genetic engineering, alien hybrids or something else bizarre that I wanted.

My medical know how is low enough the only time a disease is likely to come into play is during some sort of plague that is a plot and if I create it as a plot I'm going to stat out its specifics at that time.

Gimme a rough pagecount, and I'll give you a price.

I'd guess around 10 - 11 pages.

Just a rough draft.

Around 12-15 pages, but that's a guesstimate

A already mentioned it's not something I'ld be hugely interested in at the moment. If I was running a post-apoc near future setting I might be, but still I wouldn't unfortunately want to spend much on it. I would have thought it might be better as part of a larger project as well.

Maybe you could expand it into a profile of non-monster threats to characters.  Monsters are dime a dozen but, other than Grimtooth's baroque traps, there isn't much on other threats to characters.  Add famous poisons, game mechanics for traps commonly used in movies, weather effects, effects of common/famous drugs, etc.  make it something big enough that it can be used as a reference, so that if a gm is thinking something like "party is travelling through South American rainforest, what I can hit them with.

Funny you should mention that.  I'm kicking around this being the first in a series that would feature a similar document on traps and another on poisons

The problem is that I can't see anyone spending the money on a full length sourcebook on this stuff, but at $1, $1.50 it becomes an impulse buy

The core of the chapter is going into Havens, I'll be adding another ten or so for the PDF

Oh if you are willing to sell it at $1.5 I might pick it up as a stocking filler on an order at RPGNow. Marketing it might be tricky.

I'd take the idea and write it up myself. I've done a fair number of diseases, so I find them easy to design.
