DnD Beyond in honor of pride month...

Is it me or should people start firing up sock puppets and start shaming DnD Beyond on social media for only putting up a slight rainbow symbol for their DnD icon?  How come D&D hasn't put out a module aimed at helping kids to learn they are trans?  They really should if they want to be diverse and what not.

I believe all it would take is a few well worded tweets getting traction, Perkins would put out "James new subclass is Jenny" ages 12 and up and free to everyone under 18!

Your misspelling in the header made me first read it as...

D&D Begone

... and I couldn't stop laughing because that is exactly how I feel about it.

Their Stunning is not Brave enough so they should be shamed on Twitter until July 1st, then everyone will go back to not caring.

Is it me, or has the Pride thing been way less in your face this year? I'm hoping people are getting sick and tired of it being blasted out from every ad, company, store, and media 24/7 for the entire month of June.

Now if we can just keep them away from school kids.

It feels like it.  Sadly my company is flying a gay pride flag (which last year annoyed a very religious worker here who kept complaining about it to me).   I totally understand her point.

Besides, they dont really care about gay pride, they are simply flying the flag to score points and prevent people from attacking them.   It's all about optics.

Might be because of the Target and InBev boycotts, which are having a huge impact on the companies' stock value and revenue.  Doesn't help that there was a bomb scare in I think PA and OH last week by trans activists for Target moving the trans stuff away from kids in the South.

Looks like Chick-fil-A is next on the boycott list, from what I'm seeing online.  They lose their religious and conservative customers, they're screwed, as progressives already refuse to eat there.

Do you really need D&D Beyond? Do you really need to drink light beer? Do you really need to go buy a bunch of nonsense from a retail store that will inevitable sit on a shelf, unused?

The shandemic nonsense of the past few years has made a lot of people realize their consumerist lifestyles were largely pure horseshit and that the world around them was pushing an agenda they disagreed with and in fact was inimical to their well-being. Finally the masses have decided to just refuse to engage in the "woke world" or whatever you want to call it, and companies are feeling the pain. Rightfully so. Why should anyone with any sense spend money at places that hate them? I don't play D&D Beyond and never will, so WTF do I care what WotC does?

No, and there has been a lot of backlash.  Target stores got so much backlash for the Pride wear they had that they removed it and the advertising from shelves.

People are finally sick of it.

"We don't always know exactly where these sort of anti-democracy actors are going to point to next, but the increase in threats and harassment from anti-democracy movements in the U.S. has become so frequent that this is something that absolutely just needs to be planned for."

Oh, so when people say they don't want to see a bunch of over-sexualized crap targeted at children, this is "anti-democracy". Sounds like something a Marxist would say, doesn't it? Contrast with literally burning down cities under the guise of "equality". Fuck these people, they are nothing more than cockroaches.

EDIT: This should also probably be moved as it has nothing really do with gaming beyond WotC's garbage marketing.

I'm fine with avoiding piss-water (Bud Light), Target, and Kohls. But missing out on Chik-fil-A hurts, they've got the best chicken sandwiches out there.

btw. It is really weird seeing the right actually boycotting something, that's the Left's MO and they do it very well. I hope this signals people of good will getting active in the culture war and fighting back against this madness.

All politics aside, I don't NEED another D&D edition. I have more than enough D&D stuff in my collection to last beyond my lifetime. The fact that its woke garbage just makes it that much easier to avoid looking at out of curiosity.

Well the sons owner is a cuck, so he doesn't have the brains to understand  that.  He thinks he can keep the religious rubes and gain the brand new men who penetrate men demographic.  He'll lose his existing customers, his DIE initiative will fuck up his franchisee program and no progressive will eat there.  He's set Chik-Fil-A to become Bank-Rupt-A.

Well, we did it, normally I take my kids to Chik-Fil-A after school once a week, but we went to In-N-Out instead. And it was delicious.

The left does not boycott.  They raise hell and engage in lawfare as well as pretend to boycott things they never bought.  If chik fil a decides to screw up...especially after the level of support I saw when the owner got in hot water for saying something so unthinkable as he is Christian and believes marriage is between a man and a woman...well he is going to see what a boycott looks like.
