I have no idea. I don't watch her. I do watch some fat balding guys on YouTube for D&D content though who have a lot of views.

YouTuber who does some vids on gaming. Some RPG related. Some not. Has a nice presentation and uses costumes A-LOT.

Personally I found some of her gaming advice to be not all that great. And others to be fairly on target. So about average.

It's like she watched all the other D&D youtubers and read their Reddit threads and then created her vid regurgitating their material. If you have the stomach for it, go look at the dates her videos were posted and then go look at the vids a few days to a few weeks before hers by other YTers. It will be enlightening.

While you're at it, look up the D&D superstar Satin Phoenix and her amazing contributions to the hobby. They are cut from different ends of the same cloth.

When I first saw her I thought she was ripping off a LARPer I know with a YouTube channel. Different costume every other video. But different subjects. Reading the above. Makes you wonder if she did copycat that girl.

As for the subject matter. Same could be said for alot of vids. I think though some are just hitting on the same subjects by coincidence. Others... who knows but with the blow-up with Illiminaughty... yeah.

I'll say this. She has the right idea on how to make a rather good presentation. Her pieces are at least interesting to watch and listen to. Unlike some other people who do not quite hit the mark.

Problem is her biases bleed through and occasionally mar her point. So this little blow-up was inevitable.

Her fans will absolve her and forget it even happened in a few days.

Lets be honest, the majority of the people watching her are doing so because of how she looks, not what she is saying.

Well, I'm glad she finally gets some spotlight. I do remember saying on twitter / x / whatever that she came across as fake, and I got a taste of that warm, inclusive roleplaying community. And a twitch video, too, I remember. I do believe I was reacting on a tweet by one of the Dungeon Dudes.

I think he and I were both saying 1) he phoned this one in as an easy target who was popular to get clicks for himself, and 2) his view count is so low with regard to hers that it's like flinging a drop of water in the ocean. No chance to have an impact.

I stopped watching her stuff and unsubbed after being shown her hateful tweets towards Christians and Republicans. I am neither of those. But I won't support a hateful bigot.

All I know about her is that she cut ties with my friends' company over false allegations. My friends own a company that makes gaming accessories and furniture and one of the executives/minor owners was falsely accused of some sexual harassment. Ginny Di used to do promotions for them. I'm proud to say that my friends stood behind their guy and didn't just throw him overboard to appease the mob. Sales did not take a hit and they still have more work than they can handle.

That may happen but by extension of that logic small fry should never challenge the big guns lest their integrity be challenged. Sometimes you see something worth pointing out and it's not about clicks. Also I've seen folks claim he coasted on this one. Maybe he did but he scoured her twitter going back years so there was more effort than a lot of folks on youtube.

So, when you can't attack the factual nature of the allegations, attack.the motive. I don't care why Diversity and Dragons posted the video. Does it accurately reflect the posts from GinnyDi? If so, then I'm appreciative for the video.
