This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

As pretty as some of these are, I sincerely doubt that they play tested these sheets with anyone. I mean... man where do I look first on that last one?

TristramEvans

The Eoris sheet, honestly, was the first thing to unsell me on the game.

Man, wish these came in 5e...

That Eoris sheet looks like a mess. Am I the only one who initially saw "KALE!" at the top and then proceeded to be even more confused throughout? A pity because the physical copy looked like a pile of pretty art potential at a heart-stopping price tag.
Just make your fuckin\' guy and roll the dice, you pricks. Focus on what\'s interesting, not what gives you the biggest randomly generated virtual penis.  -- J Arcane

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

According to the site you can get two color hardcovers in a slipcase for 30 bucks. I don't know how they managed that because back when I was interested in acquiring the game it was going to cost a hell of a lot more than that.

It did have some beautiful art but I don't think I have the patience to try and wrap my head around some of the games weirder concepts at this stage.

They recently faced a situation where they would have had to burn most of the stock of books as they've sat in a warehouse for several years eating up money. They went with selling them off dirt cheap instead.

O RLY?

Is the art inside worth the cost? Good coffee table material?

I remember being wowed by what I saw from online previews years ago, but put off by the rules and price tag. So I cant say for certain, but at $30 its probably worth a look. It's anime-by-way-of-MMORPG-style art, in the vein of Anima.

Raven

I stopped following the game right around the time people starting getting their copies so I wasn't aware of the issues. I may go ahead and grab a copy after all. There really is some nice art in them.

i never auctualy had a problem with the eoris character sheets sure they indicate the game has a lot of stats and it can easily put somebody off but the sheet itself does not look hard to read
If your having tier problems i feel bad for you son i got 99 problems but caster supremacy aint 1.

Apology\'s if there is no punctuation in the above post its probably my autism making me forget.
