This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What happened to Drohem?

There used to be a poster here called Drohem, participated in a lot of play-by-posts. He suddenly stopped posting early last year, practically mid-character decision. He didn't seem like the type to quit the forum.

Does anyone know what happened? I hope it wasn't tragic.

Spinachcat

We've lost too many cool posters in the past year or so.

Since I always felt a bit sympatico with Drohem (we seemed to have similar tastes in games and some of the same places) I did a quick bit of searching online...
Based on what I found he seems to be alive and well.
I'm guessing he just got real busy with family stuff (4 kids with two of them being under 5) and other interests.
I wonder if he's still Webmaster of the main Talislanta fan site?

That is good to hear. And yes, two currently young children... it is a miracle when you can get restful sleep.

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

Arkansan

He was a player in the PbP I ran here last year. I seem to recall that he was in general quite pleasant to deal with. I had wondered what had happened to him too, good to hear that he appears to be well.
