I love how they think their boycotts will accomplish anything. SJWs threatened to boycott both Frog God Games and Steve Jackson Games. Neither did much. Steve Jackson and Frog God are much smaller entities that don't report to risk averse shareholders. Those are the only entities who ever survive clashes with the SJW outrage brigades.

Once fiduciary responsibility to maximize shareholder profits by reducing risk becomes an entities' guiding principle it becomes much more vulnerable to the SJW negative publicity tactics because ignoring the calls can be used as grounds to oust someone even higher up the food chain at Hasbro than Mike Mearls (because they failed to deliver the best possible returns to the shareholders by allowing the negative publicity to continue).

Sadly for official D&D I think D&D 6e (SJW edition) is an inevitability at this point; pushed by whomever replaces Mearls after he's been ousted for finally falling outside the escalating purity spiral. It will proudly depict a trans dragonborn/warforged couple holding up an aborted baby before an altar to Moloch (god of Wokeness) on the cover, the mechanics will be replaced with success based entirely upon how intersectionally oppressed your character is and the only place "cis white male" will be an option is in the monsters section.

   Don't forget the bonuses for polygamous marriages (some people have already worked out/tried to leverage 5E's ceremony spell for this).

D&D goes into a purity spiral and goes to shit faster
Mearls can design, write and self-publish his own shit, if it's good he'll make money
Small publishers, both inside and outside of the OSR have a golden opportunity to grow (Who is going to compete with them? Paizo? pft)
Privately owned companies are way less vulnerable to the demands of the mob with pitchforks
The woke morons will end up destitute since they eat their own (see the JK Rowlins recent "scandal")

As far as I can see this is full of Winning! for everybody but the woke brigade, so bring it on!
