That sort of makes sense. I would probably do something like charge 10% of the base cost of the wand, plus the rest of the cost in proportion to the number of charges (e.g. a wand with 25 charges would cost 55% of the cost of a fully-charged wand). This is because of the diminishing returns of the utility as the number of charges grow - having access to one disguise self in a crisis situation is great, but you probably won't use up the full fifty in a wand over your whole adventuring career.

Here's an idea! Fill up a wand with different spells! Like 10 charges of Disguise Self, 10 chartes of Shield, 10 charges of Burning Hands, 10 charges of Grease, and 10 charges of Summon Monster!

Hey, you could even use mixed spell levels, like 20 charges of Magic Missile, and 30 charges of Fireball!
Next phase, new wave, dance craze, anyways, it's still rock and roll to me.

You can talk all you want about theory, craft, or whatever. But in the end, it's still just new ways of looking at people playing make-believe and having a good time with their friends. Intellectualize or analyze all you want, but we've been playing the same game since we were 2 years old. We just have shinier books, spend more money, and use bigger words now.
