So for such a radical game, DCC makes very conservative choices for its PC races, which is fine because they do a very good job with them, but I was wondering what other race would DCC fans like to see as a PC-race in the game?

Shifters, aasimar, and tieflings. I use all three in any game I run.
For all Goodman games made of DCC going back to D&D's sword and sorcery roots, you'd think they'd give us serpent men and Frazetta-esque ape-men.
Mind Flayers and/or Gorbels.

Yeah, this. Lizard/snake-men and Ape-men.
Minotaurs and Insectoids (thinking Legend of Grimrock here).
Human!! :D
Minotaurs would be kinda boss.
Centaurs, and Werecritter would be my choices.
One of the early issues of Fight On! has a penguin race.
Snake/Lizard Men get my vote.
I would still like to see an Assassin Class, or Barbarian.
I don't know how well Ape-men would work/fit. I think a Barbarian class would be the better option here.
Maybe a Solomon Kane/Captain Kronos style Vampire/Witch Hunter? But without the guns?
I know, most of my suggestions aren't races... but there you are...
I like the serpent/apemen, minotaurs and insectoids ideas. I'd like to see something that creates a different playing experience. Apemen and Minotaurs might play just like really strong Warriors. How close would Insectoids cleave to the Elf class?
I'd like something interesting (not necessarily exotic) that also fills a gap in the classes already available. Say the quintessential half-orc assassin, as a quick example.
I thought someone did Serpent Folk already?

Yeah, Libertad, i believe, on this very forum. I also posted a Centaur one here. I'm not too happy with it tbh, but the groundwork is there.
Centaurs, Satyrs, and (medium or large sized) Cyclopes.

Agreed on aasimar and tieflings.
Gnomes! Because they fucking rock! :D
Well in Tales of the Fallen Empire (http://www.chapter13press.com/news/?cat=6) they will have:
- 6 new classes: Barbarian, Witch, Lizard-Man, Wanderer, Man-Ape, & Sidhe
- Revised Wizard Class (The Sorcerer)
- New Spells
- New Creatures
- Survival & Scrounging Rules

Libertad did both of the ones I suggested, I believe, and a bang-up job of them, but I meant in an official capacity.

Ooh, spiffy.
I'm not very demanding; I'd like to see something like hobgoblins.
