This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Geek MessiahYou are welcome to disagree with my characterization.   But if a company puts out the game without any desire to support it (IMHO) its a money grab and thats it.

Sure, but you have rudely invented a scenario and posted it as if it were a response to my post, and then phrased it as if you were "agreeing" with me. Saying (as you did) "What you are saying is very true." and then following up with something that totally contradicts what I said is either dishonest or stupid.

If you want to rail against the imagined evils you conjure up for theoretical RPG publishers, do it without trying to pretend it's something I said that you agree with. Do you understand the nature of my complaint, here?

To put it another way: If you disagree wth my scenarios (and you DO), then have the balls to disagree, instead of trying to slip your disagreement in sideways by way of pretending to agree.

Actually I wanted to appologise.   I wrote that in a hurry and you replied before I got to edit the message.

What I meant to say is "Option B could be a money grab for certain companies and other companies may put out BESM 3rd so that the community who has been looking forward to it may the game they have been waiting for.

Fair enough. Such are the risks of us both being at the keyboard; it's more like a chatroom than a message board right now.

Group hug.

Yeah and I am doing it at work so I am typing faster then I am thinking and what I am trying to say might not come across like I want it to (As per example what was said before).

I will try to reply only when I have time to actually think out what I am trying to say
