This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

One nice thing about posting so late in this thread is I can look over other people's lists and remind myself about what games I should include.

1: D&D (3.5) - I play it all the time, and it's a lot of fun.
2: Call of Cthulhu - Old and creaky in places (although the d20 version fixes some of that), but still a fantastic system for getting your horror on, from fighting for survival to tracking down world-wide conspiracies.  And a lot of the support books are fantastic.
3: Hero System/Champions 5th
4: AFMBE - Eden's de facto generic Unisystem game.  Pulp, martial arts, old west, zombies.  Lots of fun.
5: Shadowrun - Buying guns, spells, and fantastic tricked out vehicles to stick it to the man and get 10% for yourself
6: Feng Shui - A fantastic book to read, and a lot of fun to play.
7: Mekton Zeta - Giant robots done right
8: Unknown Armies - Wierd modern-day hoodoo with a side of angst.
9: Space 1889 - Victorian white man's burden reaches the stars.
X: Risus - Fun, generic, and I'm a fan of S. John Ross.  He's currently refitting 'Uresia: Grave of Heaven' for the system.

HM: Spirit of the Century, Over the Edge, DC Heros (old system)

Not exactly. There is already a Urisus site on the Blue Room, but last I heard Uresia would be "All Systems Library" meaning it wouldn't include stats for any game specifically.

Melinglor

Recent entries have inspired me, and I've modified my original post for editorializing. :D

beeber

let's see:

1.   call of cthulhu
2.   traveller/megatraveller
3.   b/e d&d (moldvay edition)
4.   deadlands (1st ed.)
5.   paranoia (ditto)
6.   star frontiers (pre-zebulon's gd.)
7.   WFRP (1st. ed.)
8.   MERP
9.   gamma world (2nd. ed.)
10.  ad&d (1st. ed.)

i wanted to limit it to things i've actually played.  otherwise i could add werewolf:  the apocalypse, blue planet, shadowrun, 2300 AD, and twilight:2000.

edit:  forgot to add WFRP.  that knocked d20 in general off the list.  it's fun and all, but just a tad too videogamey/magic the gathering (powercreep) for me.
