This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Eldrad on September 06, 2024, 03:23:47 AMSO when do we add BASTIONLAND Press to the Red category? Who is updating the list?

Why not post links to why Bastionland should be red into the other thread, and maybe Ocule, who does the updating, will agree and add them?

The Fabula Ultima RPG looked somewhat interesting prior to this. But today I saw the developer on the red list and noticed they actually had pronouns on the character sheet which makes no sense because it's supposed to be a Final Fantasy style RPG. Yeah, that doesn't look good.

Fabula is a fun game (my replay of it is over 200 pages long), but I wouldn't play it with anyone in the community.
You can find my solo Tarot based rules for Amber on my home page.

I think given their harassment of people on their forums and banning policies I think enworld should be red.

I said concerning JK Rowling:
Quote from: emerikolI have not read everything she has written on the subject or even her Harry Potter novels but from what I've seen I think she is fighting the good fight. This isn't a political thread though so if you want to discuss in depth send me a personal message. I don't want to make the guardians mad.

I was mainly thinking about women's sports and nothing else.  I don't follow this stuff that closely.  I was banned immediately for making the place an unsafe place for trans people.  I think Morris and Umbran have lost their minds.

Old school playstyle though not averse to modern rules played old school.

I haven't seen Mythmere Games on any of the lists. They apparently have taken over publishing Swords & Wizardry from Frog God Games.

I'm wondering if the Mork Borg entry here needs review. I cant find evidence of anything restrictive in their license. Nor anything overtly "real world" political in their games.
There is literally nothing in Mork Borg to do with real world politics.

Also, I think the cyborg rule#00 thing is just game flavour, its basically the situation for "Escape from New York" or "Running Man" or "Alien" or "Resident Evil" etc etc where the corporation is the bad guy. its just a vibe for the game world, not a legal threat.

Maybe there are other things i dont know about.

QuoteOckult Ortmastare Games/Stockholm Cartell (Mork Borg, Cy_Borg) - Uses OGL to shoot down authors they disagree with. Supports BLM and bailing out rioters. View their License for yourself but we need some concrete examples of them actually using this Mork Borg 3rd Party License. Cy_Borg contains "acab" and anti capitalist propaganda to the point of telling players they can break any rule except rule 00 which is "Player characters cannot be loyal or have any sympathy to the corps, the cops or the capitalist system." They have no control over anyone's home game and they can get bent for trying. Check out Corporation RPG or Cyerpunk 2020 instead for a better experience.

Can you update the Paradox Games entry from "sells on Big Geek Emporium" to, Sells on "Gumroad.com"?
Creator of Radical High, a 1980s RPG.
DM/PM me if you're interested.

Mixel Plick

I looked Paradox on the list.  Is Radical High like a game about stoners?

MrTheFalcon

This is wild! I could add a few more to the list, but honestly, it's surprising how often this happens.
