This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

That's a lot of Rolemaster books!

So, the other day I find myself deciding which books will personally accompany back on my move to the states and which will be boxed up and shipped back.  Aside from my Rifts UE and Palladium Fantasy RPG book, a lot of my collection is on pdf, which makes it a little bit easier to go without those books for 2 months or however long it will take the USAF to ship my stuff back to Indy.

One item I really wanted to keep out (aside from my reissue of Traveller books 1-3) was my Rolemaster stuff, since that's a campaign I'm interested in running right away when I get home.  So I start to collect my RMFRP and RMSS hybrid collection, thinking it'd only be a few books.

Wrong.

I ended up with RMFRP, Races & Cultures, Creatures & Monsters, Spell Law (RMSS), Character Law, Gamemaster Law, School of Hard Knocks,  Treasure Companion, GM Screen, and And A 10-foot pole (the best fantasy equipment guide that ever was).  All of which is supposed to fit in my backpack...

When the heck did I get so many RM books that I actually use (or plan on using)?

Looks like I'll be doing a little priority mail back to the USA...

Cool!  We go camping down around there quite a bit (when we're lucky enough to be back in the Indy area, which will be permanently as of the end of this month).

It's a bit of a drive, and I imagine you do OK, what with IU right there, but we've got a pretty healthy gaming community up in Indy, if you're ever looking to game (and, I suppose, depending on your druthers).
