This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So we have Mariner.  And we have numerous cool takes on Cyberpunk.  So why don't we do something with them.  Why don't we write up these gems and use them as a magnet of interest to get people here?

The site was partly set up as a place where games were discussed and played, where theory that worked was discussed and put into use.

So why don't we put our money where our mouth is?

I am actually doing something with Mariner right now.  I'm currently in a very quiet and cautious wait-and-see stage for the time being.  The question I'm hoping to have answered being, What direction can the project ultimately take?  I'm adding to my notes daily, though, such as a very pleasing Universal Port Profile.

Query: Mariner? Is that a new movie, TV series, book, what?

Mariner is the Traveller-in-a-seagoing-Cargo-Ship idea. There's a long thread on it, and it's an awesome concept. I would have run with this and put out an In Harm's Way book if the idea had been mine... :D

I hate me. I volunteered to compile the fantasy EC thread as a PDF, but I keep forgetting to finish it up. I'll do that over the weekend and post a link to it here.

Thanatos02

Eh, I'm not doing cyberpunk right now because I'm right in the middle of writing fantasypunk.
God in the Machine.

Here's my website. It's defunct, but there's gaming stuff on it. Much of it's missing. Sorry.

I've got a blog. Do you read other people's blogs? I dunno. You can say hi if you want, though, I don't mind company. It's not all gaming, though; you run the risk of running into my RL shit.
