I've posted previously about my Coat of Arms software project, but not in a while. I've made several updates since, including:
-Better support for counter-changing. (Giving a charge--symbol, creature, or ordinary--a color scheme that is opposite to the colors of the background.)
-More options for divisions.
-More patterns for placement of multiple identical charges.
-Users can now specify a number of certain ordinaries. (3 bars, 2 chevronels, etc.)
-Divisions can now be subdivided by other divisions.
-And of course a whole bunch more.
The new website for it is at: http://www.inkwellideas.com/coat_of_arms/
Thanks, and please post any constructive criticism or requests over there or here.
Are these based on Franco-english heraldry, or can you use it to do Polish Heraldry too? The Polish heraldic symbols are pretty different (check out my FtA!GN! book for a very large set of those).

Thanks for your interest! My sources are primarily English-French-German. From looking at this page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_heraldry) it seems there is at least some overlap of charges, but if you have a few specific requests please let me know and I'll add them to my queue. (Especially if you can give me an example (hopefully public domain, but it doesn't have to be) to refer to.)
