This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So....

Did GenCon come and go with no announcement whatsoever as to the status of the City of Heroes pen and paper RPG?

I haven't heard anything, but I have to say I'm not particularly interested in a tabletop version of the game

The preview stuff looked like it had been jammed on top of Unisystem in rather a clunky fashion and I've got a suspicion that stuff that's balanced in the computer game will be ludicrously overpowered in tabletop.  I predict that two of these things will be Haste and most of the Kinetics powerset

Edit: and if you're interested in CoX, why not join our villian group ;)

Sorry, I don't see myself returning to CoX MMORPG anytime soon.  But I do appreciate the invite.

Is there anyway to move form the European servers to the US ones?

Unfortunately not

If enough people petition it then they might produce a mechanism, but I'd have thought they'd want to keep the load on the US servers as low as possible
