This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I totally want to play M&M! Where can I get minis to represent the different classes and monsters? Post pics and links in this thread!

I just downloaded the Players and Master's guide from the links on the front page.  Looks very very neat!

This may be worth a game or two somewhere down the road...

I think the server's slow, because I'm getting slow throughput on my corporate internet, too.

Ral Partha blister 13-042, Atlantean Heroes should make some great barbarian PCs.  They've got Bronze Age looking equipment and manly beards, IIRC.

Behold the newly released Revised Mazes & Minotaurs (from 1987).

All the action you love with a few more additions and a lot of consolidation from the other books!

I happen to be pondering an online game of the ol' M&M (I think Silverlion is in so far) and wouldn't mind seeing if there's any interest out there. :)

Synopsis:
Upon the Isle of Lykos located some 60 miles from Charybdia at the tip of an expansive archipelago, the city-states of Askestes and Nessos have warred for almost two long and bloody years.  The war has finally ended and Akestes has been besieged; it's walls crumbled to dust, it's buildings burning to ash and the remaining Akestian's (which includes the PCs) have been chased eastward to the sea where the last of the Akestian fleet offers freedom; if they can reach them in time with the Nessians fast on their heels!

(Sure, they're supposed to be Zeus etc, but who cares)
I'll say it's NSFW.  Just one of Aphrodite's boobs is bigger than her head!

Megamanfan,

I will play in your online game. Let me know what's up.

So I found some for Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, and the Cyclops:

I got three cyclopses and one of each of the gods. They're several inches tall, on a par with some of the WotC Huge D&D miniatures (large size even for those though). In other words, exactly what you'd want to tower over 25-28mm miniatures.

3 bucks a piece. They also make a minotaur and a Hercules, but both of those seemed too big for the relevant scale so I didn't get them. And of course they're toys so they're prepainted and all that.
