Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). What abilities and profile do you think would be good for a Capybara humanoid?

I know that Players are sure to love meeting such a creature, and will no doubt want to recruit such a creature as a Henchman, if not also creating such a Character for themselves. I am anticipating this, so I think it is always good to be prepared.

I'd make the Capybara humanoid have a goliath size to emulate the relative lack of predators due to its size. Then, given it has a gentle giant demeanor as it is busy chewing plant matter, I'd make it attractive to other prey animals who are reassured and calmed in its presence. So maybe a humanoid that is 8 to 10 feet tall when standing, but tends to squat on all fours, likes to be submerged in water, and calmly accept other prey animals regularly perching or snuggling atop them as they blithely continue chewing.  ;D

Not a powerful race, just one with few enemies and a rather neutral demeanor to everyone else around them. You could probably hire them out as good flooded jungle porters who can be paid in pumpkins.  :)

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.
