Jrients talked about getting old JG maps both here and on his blog.

This got me to thinking about how cool a concept their campaign hexagon mapping system was.  That got me to thinking that I could share the attached file for people who want something similar.

This is a pdf of a graphics file I made a long time ago, when I'd read about the JG campaign hex system but didn't know exactly what they looked like.  I do my large-scale maps in 6-mile hexes (I think I started using that scale because it works with BD&D movement rates); each small hex on the second page would represent 1 mile of a 6-mile hex from the first.  The JG system uses something like 25 small hexes per large hex, I think?  I have some stuff from RPGNow but can't access the files at the moment.

Anyway, I still use my "faux JG" system, sometimes zooming in even further (breaking up a 1-mile hex into an area six 880' hexes across) and thought someone else might like to use them, too.
