This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I like Omega World best. I thought that should have been expanded to a full fledged game.

Edit: Personally, I like the premise of Metamorphosis Alpha more BUT the GW editions always had cleaner if not better systems.

2e was the best I played. I may have played 1e, but can't remember. I know one of our family friends had that when I was a kid.

I like universal chart systems, but 3e was bad. It didn't help that there was a 12- or 16- page document of errata.

Mutant Future is pretty okay. I just wish it didn't have descending armor classes and attack matrices. Lame.
Don\'t forget rule no. 2, noobs. Seriously, just don\'t post there. Those guys are nuts.

Speak your mind here without fear! They\'ll just lock the thread anyway.

I don't know about that. I felt a lot more let down by Andy Collins' 5th "Alternity" version of Gamma World. Sasquatch as a player race? Pure Strain Humans are actually aliens?
New! Cyberblues City - like cyberpunk, only more mellow. Free, fully illustrated roleplaying game based on the Fudge system
Bounty Hunters of the Atomic Wastelands, a post-apocalyptic western game based on Fate. It\'s simple, it\'s free and it\'s in colour!
