This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Japanese?  A friend likes the game Goblin Slayer based on the anime of the same name.  Released in Japanese for that market by a Japanese game author.  Anime/Japanese version of many fantasy tropes.  English translation is workman-like.

Goblin Slayer is awesome.

This thread is more about games centered on Japan as a setting rather than games from Japan.  With that, I'm not aware of a JRPG that uses Japanese history and folklore as a primary source for it's setting.  If you're aware of one, I'd love to see it.
>Blade Runner RPG
Terrible idea, overwhelming majority of ttrpg players can't pass Voight-Kampff test.

Three other adventures where published of varying quality between 2016 & 2019.  Bushido: A Tale of Honor Lost, Bushido: Honor Bound, and Bushido: The Path of Honor.
