This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: GunslingerHas Disney World expanded all the way to Tampa by then?  Will Disney be one of the corps?  I wish I was joking. :o

Disney World Security vs the Busch Gardens Militia over who will dominate the amusement park scene. That would rock!

Very nice, definitely going to be of use to me if/when I and another fellow gamer can convince our group to try SR4. I lived in Naples for a number of years, and still have many friends there and in Lakeland, and so know the area ok, but my Knoxville game group here aren't familiar with Tampa, so it'd be perfect to use as a future setting :) Much appreciated.

North of Tampa on I-75 is Dade City, Ridge Manor, and Brooksville. In the Brooksville/Ridge Manor area, they is alot of Mining. So You might want to use that little bit of info for your game. All three are "Redneck" areas more or less too. Hell that is were I live. Boondock Central.

Were I live there is no "Cable" either. ;) That might be worked into your game too.

I do not know what the Shadowrun Dwarfs, Hobgoblins, Trolls, etc are like but looking at D&D3e, I'd say Orgre/Half Ogre, Hobgoblins, Dwarven, Trogs/Lizard Men would be common.

Woodsy, Swampy, Dark Forrests and mining.

Ohh yeah, The GOTH subculture is huge in Tampa. I should know I'm part of it :D
