This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I confess:
I´m a JTAS subscriber, only to be able read Loren K. Wisemans Editiorials.

Are the articles any good these days? I was finding them too, well, GURPS-ish, so basically saved the articles I like (like the Brown Dwarf articles... those were gold to a gearhead like me) and let my subscription lapse.
The Secret Volcano Base: my intermittently updated RPG blog.

Running: Pathfinder Scarred Lands, Mutants & Masterminds, Masks, Starfinder, Bulldogs!
Playing: Sigh. Nothing.
Planning: Some Cyberpunk thing, system TBD.

I...only, well... I really don´t look at the articles anymore.

I did get some huge mileage out of Trillion Credit Wars, used it in my campaign. Great great stuff, especially if you have players who aren´t into FFW style detail.

But the more recent articles... haven´t looked at them.

I am proud to call Supplement Four an online buddy. I love that guy. I collect his rules tinkerings religiously.

OK, people have covered most bases already...

Here's a new and increasingly spectacular resource for finding your way around continent Traveller:

I'll be seconding this. The CotI forums have been a great place to bounce ideas around.

Stellar Reaches, JTAS, Traveller Downport, and Freelance Traveller are all good. An often overlooked site is the MIssouri Archive, which is great for T4 and TNE fans.

Zhodani Base (don't think it's been mentioned yet) is chock full of goodness.

I'm not sure whether to be blown away by the brilliance of this endevour or stunned by the inadequacies of presenting so much space in 2D.

Probably a bit of both, then.

Good stuff!  And my personal choice.

Every now and then I reflect on the fact that, in spite of my years of enthusiasm for Traveller, I have totally neglected to take part in any online Traveller community.  I've done so for most other specific games I've had an interest in, but not Trav.  Oddly, I'm very satisfied with this arrangement, as no one else's opinion on canon has ever intruded on my memories of, or outlook on, the game.

 Hey Now!!
Thats where the original shipyard  factories for the Empress Marava merchant freighters is located.
Gotta respect that if you run a merchant campaign.

It's a jumpspace map, jumpspace operates on a two-dimensional axis, not three dimensional.

Honest.

You need some random words for your Vilani dictionary?  Try this:

It's part of a pretty neat little site chock full of random name and word generators.
