This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I am running Novus. I need more creatures/monsters. I have read around and seen that there is a Rolemaster and Harp link. How easy is it to convert between these systems? I could "reskin" what there already is in the handbook, but that doesn't leave me with a sense of deep satisfaction.

Alternatively, what other systems can I grab creatures from and quickly (eyeballing it!) use? Suggestions welcome.
I play these games to be entertained... I don't want to see games about rape, sodomy and drug addiction... I can get all that at home.

I think that after eyeballing some Novus creature stats and HARP stats, that HARP should be relatively easy to do quick and dirty conversions from. If you divide the large stats by 5 it should work pretty well. However, if you sign up to the ICE forums you can download a document "HARP d20-fied" where Tim Dugger converts HARP to use a d20 rather than d100. It includes conversions of all the monsters from the core book.

You can find it here.
