So Pundit is banning discussing a specific way of playing D&D on RPGsite because someone said something on Twitter. Seriously?

Basically the same thing that happened to ACKS but it's now happening here.

Not what I understood, IF I'm getting it right you CAN'T be part of the BrOSR or post in support of them. I don't see anything about the playstyle.

Seems kind of like a distinction without a difference? What is the distinction between discussion or support of a playstyle and affiliation with a group advocating that playstyle? It's not like there's some member's list, right?

So, when I'm posting to criticize the new rule change from WotC I'm really posting in their support?

Or when I say that X new rule/mechanic is a good thing I'm really saying that I'm okay with everything else who ever published it does/says?

For example in a thread people have said they love how GURPS managed weapons, ergo they approve SJG position in donations to an abortist "charity"?

Or when someone says they like dogs they are evidently in alignment with the nazis because Hitler also liked dogs.

No, because you're illustrating my point. I am not agreeing with the idea that supporting a BroSR playstyle is tantamount to membership, I'm asking how the policy is enforced. Pundit said: "Any BroSR poster or any poster supportive of the BroSR on theRPGsite will be immediately banned for promoting neo-nazi ideology."

If the only thing I can tell that unifies the broSR is their advocacy for a particular playstyle to the exclusion of others, then how does one identify their support or membership other than playstyle? If I advocate for 1:1 time, am I broSR or acting in support of them? I don't think so and I don't think that's what's intended here by Pundit, but I don't know how the policy works without some measure of guilt by association.

So the only time I've heard of the BROSR was on a Youtube channel called The Joy of Wargaming, which covers minis gaming and old D&D.  I've watched a fair bit of that channel and, while the guy is obviously a conservative Christian (and not above poking the liberal bear a bit), I've never seen anything remotely offensive on the channel.   Whether that's because it's fine or if I just wasn't paying attention I don't know.  Does anybody care to comment on the channel in question?

I've posted on Twitter, asking for the ban to be re-examined as I believe it's unfair.

I don't agree with Pundit on everything, but I value his voice and don't want him to be silenced for what's actually occurred.

Yes, I know. There's left-wing Antisemitism, lots of it. There's also Christian Nationalist Antisemitism, which I suspect is a significant number of the BroSR (Jeffro also claimed that "non christians can never understand D&D"). The latter overlap a lot with racial nationalists though.

I'm not banning any kind of way of playing D&D on theRPGsite. If you want to REALLY play AD&D1e Rules-as-Written and talk about that you're welcome to.

Not really sure yet. At the moment, I plan to post a bit more on theRPGsite, on the Inglorious OSR group on Mewe, on the Conservative OSR group on Facebook, and probably to be more active on Youtube.

Ironically, I was mulling about how to work out doing subscriptions or videos on Twitter before this, trying to figure out what I could offer there. Now that's out obviously, but who knows, I might see if I can set up Youtube Subs, or if I go really crazy maybe actually start using that Patreon I have always had for people who just wanted to throw money at me.

Patreon has been co-opted for years now, you'd be better off switching to subscribestar.
