Title: BASH RPG: Anybody know this?

It looks, well, cute.

A supers RPG influenced by GURPS/HERO for kids: is that even conceivable?

But the pdf sample of the Fantasy version I looked at was a fun read.

I have both the Supers game (BASH!) and the fantasy game (BASH! Fantasy).

The game is definitely fun and full of flavor. The system is easy: 2d6 x Stat. The three stats are Brawn, Agility and Smarts (if I remember correctly). The stats are rated from 1 to 5. In the supers game 1 is average and 5 is Hulk level. In the Fantasy game, the scale is 1 is average and 5 is Giant class (or something similar).

There is not much granularity but the game certainly screams fun!

BASHMan occassionally posts to the RPG.Net forums. He was working on a BASH!Space game but that project seems shelved. I think he is doing some CnC work now.

Thanks for the link, I hadn't heard of it.  Based on the free version of the fantasy game, it looks decent.  Interesting to have values bottom out at average.

Not so!  I have done freelance work for Castles and Crusades, however, I have always been dedicated to Basic Action Games' projects.  BASH! Sci-Fi is DONE being written.  It is in the layout/art director, David Jarvis', hands, and should be ready for release soon!

If people were impressed with BASH! Fantasy, Sci-Fi will blow your mind.

I have finally gotten around to posting at this forum, and must say I am impressed by it, and intend to be around more in the future!
