This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Art your Campaign!

For this thread post artwork you have commissioned or drawn yourself of characters in your campaigns.

Submitted for your approval is a Feline Hybrid Hacker NPC from my Interface Zero Savage Worlds campaign.  Her name is Wayfarer and the players never actually met her in person, they know only her VR Avatar which is a swirling mass of fractal shapes in a vaguely feminie, humanoid form.

I hope you can forgive the cutesy, mana-esque style. If you're curious, the artist is Ramenwarok.  http://ramenwarwok.tumblr.com/

Nice work!
Here some of stuff I drew for Cyberblues City

New! Cyberblues City - like cyberpunk, only more mellow. Free, fully illustrated roleplaying game based on the Fudge system
Bounty Hunters of the Atomic Wastelands, a post-apocalyptic western game based on Fate. It\'s simple, it\'s free and it\'s in colour!

Shipyard Locked

My brother does concept art for Runescape. Whenever he plays in one of my campaigns he creates portraits for each player character.

Here's the set for my current campaign (in Eberron, his personal character is first on the left).

There are others on his deviantart page (listed at the bottom of the image), and many more that haven't been used yet.

The Butcher

In which I bemoan my lack of talent, and the lack of talent in my group.

Well done, y'all.

Dr. Ink'n'stain

I sometimes wish I would not get carried away in designing the visuals for any upcoming game or campaign, but most of the time my writing just gets sidetracked by all the illustrations, layouts and finding and converting the perfect set of miniatures etc., to the point that I more often than not get bored and move on even before finalizing anything.

Nevertheless, here are some NPC:s from my D&D 5th campaing, currently on hiatus due RL reasons (stupid RL). These were done partly to get to know the system, (Hence the full character sheet, usually I don't 'overbuild' my NPC:s this much) and to test my hand with a stylus on iPad/ProCreate.

Those are pretty sweet, Dr. Ink'n'stain. I love the card format.

My brother has a similar issue, so I guess there's a small blessing in the fact that I am not the visual artist of the family. :p

This is Aditya, my character from our so-called
'Burning Ahimsa' campaign a few years back.  Rakshasa shows up impersonating his uncle, and slaughters the royal family. Aditya runs a brief guerilla campaign to try to out the demon usurper, but it fails and he's forced to leave his former kingdom, heading out into the wider world to find support against the demon and his cohort.

I'm not even a very good artist and I am consumed by this problem.

You are posting in a troll thread.

While temped to post artwork from Featured Kingdom as commissioned works here is the last character sketch I think I ever did. It is... not good. Doctor Armada was a friendly dimensional traveler in a silver age hero game.

This came from another game where I was playing around with photo manipulation. Aeon was a living link to a solar storm.

I'm not an artist. But I doodled this during a two-hour meeting of one of my players character's - a quasi-Spartan culture. With added coffee stains!

I think we are gong to have to agree to disagree.

I can't draw people to save my life. But I have lots of weapon illustrations on my DeviantArt page that might be useful.

Aww, thanks.

So to people that say "I can't draw." I say this - /Obamavoice "Yes. You can."

Like anything else, it just takes practice and learning to "see" in your mind. Time + Effort = Win.

I do have some larger stuff I do on my sketchpad. I taught myself how to draw because I used to sculpt for six-years, and that forced me to sketch outlines of my projects before I got to sculpting. So I taught myself starting from stick-figures to eventually doing line-art. Ended up teaching myself inking and stuff, but I'd never want to do it professionally. So yeah I can draw, but I'm not an "artist".

I have considered taking up painting... but I have no time to pursue in lieu of my other projects.

Here's last week's meeting-doodle. My general rule is - I can only do it during the meeting, so when the meeting is over, it's done. I don't touch it. So I have a notepad filled with lots of unfinished stuff, LOL.

This was for my Marvel-game where I had my own version of Grendel Prime show up.

Here's a few I've done for BF

Ooo.. Especially loving the linework on the last piece. But then I'm a sucker for B/W lineart.
