This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

DF user Guthlac posted this thread with information from his Aftermath-derived Post-Apoc campaign.  Even if you don't use the system information, the non-system stuff is gold.

Just thought I'd let y'all know about it.

I recently saw an interview on the Daily Show with the author of the book The World Without Us[/url].  It's a non-fiction book, about what would really happen to the Earth if people just disappeared.

I've not read it personally, but from what I heard in the interview, it sounds like it'd be a killer resource for PA stuff.

I saw that interview on the rerun day before last.  It does look really good.  The speculation about organisms evolving that could eat plastic sounded especially interesting.
