This is the same author who did Into The Shadows, a solid paranormal monster-hunter system, but it's difficult to find.

Wait a minute. Could S. John Ross (Risus, Cumberland Games, etc.) be related to Craig Griswold somehow?

Both people seem to have a fascination with simple D6 games and Griswold even links back to Cumberland Games on his Tripod site. It would also explain Griswold's sudden disappearance, yet the Tripod site is still being kept online by someone, somehow. Both wrote content for Pulp Hero and had a large interest in the obscure Pokethulhu. Also, The Portable RPG System seems to resemble Risus.

I might just be posting too late, not thinking too clearly, but it wouldn't be the first time a company invented a second identity to test out a product before releasing it under the real company name. German computer audio company Image-Line released a sound plugin called Youwashock before officially releasing the same plugin as Soundgoodizer. It was even labeled like it had been translated from another language:

Both their names are listed in this publication. They indeed are connected somehow. Perhaps Griswold was simply copying what Ross was doing at the time and they shared a lot of similar interests. Who knows?

Thank you. It's difficult to find them, so that'll be very helpful.

Edit: and I'm adding that 'manga' game to Ranma 1/2 on the list. Might need to sort though your whole directory tomorrow... some great, rare finds there.
