This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Any Unisystem Fans out there?

Geek Messiah

I am a fan of the Unisystem (I have mostly used it via All Flesh Must Be Eaten) and I am curious if there are any other fans out there.

What the fuck?! NO; the administrator explicitly HASN'T decided that... I can't figure out what the fuck is wrong with your account, Geek Messiah, but I'll get to the bottom of this. I think it may be the spambot, reacting (OVERreacting) to your posting of a certain URL.

The only problem is that I don't have the technical knowhow yet to figure out how to un-block you; the spambot appears to ban people differently than the way an admin does, because when I check in the admin section it would appear as if you were a viable user, yet clearly your messages are being blocked.

Where the fuck are Pooka or Gruff when you need them?

Zalmoxis

Never played it, but I have heard good things about it.

I have run it and would love to actually play the game.   Trying to convince someone to run it so I will have my chance.

Are you into Zombies/Horror movies?

Somewhat. I like classic-style horror movies, including the "plodding zombie" genre of the original Dawn of the Dead. I'm also really into Lovecraft and Poe. Many of the newer generation of horror flicks, like Saw and the various "slasher" movies, do nothing for me though.

That is the very nice thing about "All Flesh Must Be Eaten" because it simply gives you the Zombie Framework in which you can form you All Flesh game around.

Easy and very nice system.

Another Unisystem fan here.  I love AFMBE, and Terra Primate has a special place in my heart...I'm one of the few people I've met that has actually run a successful campaign of it.

PhishStyx

I'm a huge fan of WitchCraft, Conspiracy X, and the Cinematic versions, especially Angel.  I have AFMBE too, but I'm only so-so on the zombie stuff.

Occasionally, I even get to play! (though not in months now)

Hastur T. Fannon

I have Buffy, Angel and "All Flesh..."

Unisystem Lite has a special place in my heart.  For me, playing the game actually feels like a Buffy spin-off

I have run All Flesh Must Be Eaten and I am lucky enough where I actually get to play in an AFMBE game.

Not that I have a problem running the system, just enjoy playing every once in awhile.

Mcrow

I like AFMBE and have played many times, I also own Con-X.

I like the system, it's simple but not to light.

GRIM

I like everything about Unisystem EXCEPT how it runs.  The character creation etc was very intuitive and fun but during play it just feels somewhat wishy-washy for me.

Knightsky

Another Unisystem whore here.  I recently ran a Buffy campaign, and I'm currently playing in a Witchcraft campaign.  Also, I'm using the Cinematic Unisystem rules to run a space opera PBP game on another forum.

If you like horror movies with zombies, try an odd little one called "Lifeforce".
