This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

On the off chance we have some fellow Japanese D&D enthusiasts on this forum, any recommendation for a Japanese RPG store?  General store is fine but particularly interested in a store that may have second-hand/old editions in stock for sale (in particular the Japanese version of BECMI).  I found Yellow Submarine but cant tell if they are just a retailer or also a second hand book store.  Thanks in advance.

Greetings -

The best one that I go to in Akihabara, is the Yellow Submarine. On floor seven is the RPG and game shop. They do carry used games, and some of them are actually English versions. There are other places in Akihabara like Mandarake it but I don't think they carry RPG stuff.

Another store to check out would be in Kanda Jinbocho called Shosen Grande. On the fourth floor they have a ton of games both for RPG's, board games, card games, etc. They do have a lot of used games there and many of them are also English from the US.

Hope that helps!
