This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Any considerations, for having a Lich and Death Knight within the same region?

They simultaneously exist, and they are both quite powerful.  They are within say a week's journey, on horseback, of each other; but they have not encroached upon one another..... as of yet.

They have separate agendas, and they are projecting power in different directions.  At some point, they may butt heads.  Any special considerations?

Easy.  They used to be married.  She wants him back, but he has goals of conquest and an immortal harem.  She's not into that, but she still wants in anyways.  Because logic and the need to be with the best.

For all eternity it seems.
I'm glad for you if you like the top selling game of the genre.  Me, I like the road less travelled, and will be the player asking we try a game you've never heard of.

They used to be old enemies, 300 years ago. But over the years what was animosity has transitioned to grudging respect and now to ... well, 'friendship' might be overselling it. Call it 'shared camaraderie'. They've been meeting at a neutral spot, once a year, to talk about things, and every year it feels like the two come closer to burying the hatchet permanently.

Undead in my setting are slaves to The Shadow; the echo of the dead Demon Emperor and his unending hatred of The Source. They are the anathema of all life and filled with endless spite for life and light and all that is good.

At the subconscious urging of The Shadow, the two team up with the Lich employing their shadow magic to cover the land in cold and darkness and raise fresh legions for the Death Knight to lead in the eradication of all life in the region... when nothing remains their legion advances upon a new region and begins the campaign of horror anew until the forces of light unite and destroy them or the world is reduced to a lifeless ball of rock shadowed in eternal night and winter.
