I mean, if you wanted to play D&D in a PC this makes much more sense even as a lanparty than whatever turd GWotKKK is going to crap out.
Looks pretty crappy, but it's just another step to making a DM into a programmer, and players expecting a video game from you. And gah! That artwork is terrible!
If you're just saying that this project looks better than whatever Hasbro has planned, I'm sure they're all ugly.
I backed the KS for Menyr, which will use some nice procedural Unreal 5 engine framework.
Even if I don't use it for a group, I could see using it for visual interstitials, map-making, solo RPG stuff, general goofing around. Feeling it's going to go the distance as the French studio making it has a lot of experience in post-production. Seems a neutral outfit without any socio/political agenda which helps.

WotC is definitely going to have some stiff competition when they finally get around to making their thing public.

I'm saying it will come out BEFORE and has the only thing that MIGHT make it wortwhile: VR
yeah that does not look good, I'll stick with fantasy grounds for PC play.
I kind of liked it. But then, I can get past crappy art if the game is good. It's not like indie developers have a AAA budget to work with. Art can always be improved, but once a game is made it is really hard to improve the game play.
