Title: Announcement: I Am You Are We Are Crazy
Post by: Zalmoxis on April 01, 2006, 11:12:00 AM
I am very pleased to announce that I have just securing my first real game publishing deal. Well, sort of. I don't have a company yet or anything, but I'm working on getting together with some friends to work it out.

Anyway, I am in talks with a man by the name of Daevid Allen, who was one of the founding members of the psychedelic groups Soft Machine and Gong. I am creating a psychedelic roleplaying game based upon the "Gong Mythos", featuring Pot-Head Pixies, Radio Gnomes, Octave Doctors and Flying Teapots. This is all very exciting for me, as it's the first "real" project I have ever done,a nd I think it's going to be something very different and fun to play. I'll keep Nutkinland apprised of any developments...

Great news. May your work go well, and your research go better. :mischief:

Hehe... :heh:

I am awaiting this material that Daevid is sending me. I hope it's not all stems. ;)

You know if you need playtesters for something of this nature, I might be the perfect man for the job. ;)

I look forward to hearing more!

I'll hold you to that.

Haven't heard back from Daevid yet, but I expected it might be awhile as he gathers material. In the meantime this gives me a bit of time to convert my first setting to my hybridized True20 rules, which is almost done. I'm excited about this project. It's going to be very challenging though.
