This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

American Gods as a modern mythology setting

Here's some work I've done on the setting for Scion.

Everything on the main page with an asterisk after the name is something I haven't finished yet.

The stuff under Prelude is the vague plan for the campaign I'll be starting some time in the next few weeks. In keeping with the lower key nature, PCs will start off as mortals, but rise to greater stature as their ties to the Gods grow.

It starts with the Amnesiacs with character sheets idea I bantered around here for a while, and then proceeds to the protection and media-whoring of Paris Hilton.

There's more work to do still, but some of it will have to wait until I know what the PCs are going to be.

Thanks to everyone that's chipped in ideas to make this possible! Keep 'em coming if you think of something. :D
