This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Paper Military Models?

This is such a niche question but I'll ask anyway...

Does anyone know of a source for paper military models; preferably ones you can print out yourself?

Got a Twilight:2000 game using the Savage World rules coming up, I'd like to have some vehicle combat in it.

Just do clarify, do you mean paper figs of soldiers or just the vehicles?

If anyone does have such a thing, I would love to point to it as a resource for our game under development. Even just modern military (it's an sf game) would be a powerful tool.

Check for paper minis over on The Miniatures Page... http://theminiaturespage.com

There are several sources of paper minis, some better than others.

A number are on DTRPG, too.

I have made a template for the creation of 1-inch based paper miniatures, but I'm afraid that my web host flaked out on me, so I've been unable to host them for some time.  I'm not even entirely sure where the files are.

I found a company that has exactly what I need - a MOWAG LAV-25 (and yes, it is just vehicles I need), but after buying it, I come to find out they send it out on a friggin' CD.  Welcome to 1996. :P

(oh, the company is papertiger armaments)

If you have the ability to assemble them yourself, here are some mini pics of mostly WWII vehicles, and assorted other items:

We (Arion Games) do some modern, some ww2 and some scifi vehicles in our paper mini range.  They are mainly to support the human figures, and are effectively boxes with images on all 4 sides and the top.

Have a look Here (the topics with Images in the title) for some images and Here for the sets

Thanks for the input all.  I got the file mailed to me tonight.  Heh, I think the 1:72 Trumpeter LAV-25 model has fewer parts! :P

Still, should be fun to put together.

I'll have a look at your website, thanks, bottg
