Anyone have any cool maps for a "parallel worlds" campaign, of alternate histories? They could be of the present, or alternate pasts too.
Try over at this site

They have multiple members who have made many, many AH maps, plus you can also find finished alternate timelines.
I'm a sucker for The Day After Ragnarok's.
Warning: big huge giant image I don't know how to resize.

One of the larger alt history sites has entire forum dedicated to alt maps (http://www.alternatehistory.com/discussion/forumdisplay.php?f=247).
I attached one of an alternate Revolutionary War from a timeline I wrote called Decades of Light (http://www.alternatehistory.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=28565).
Thanks for those links, but what specific maps do you all think are extra-cool?
I'm only interested in maps after the Nazis won WWII, or after the CSA beat the North during the US civil war. I don't care for maps showing minor things going on in Burma. A map needs to show at a glance the big picture of what the alternate political scene is.
Crimson Skies alternate US map was interesting.

On either of the two actual AH sites, the best maps were done by the users Diamond or Thande.
And on AH.com, probably stuff before 2009 was better done.

That's on my list of games I'd like to play, but somehow my group hasn't gotten around to it. :(
