This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Interesting Idea for IHW

Been away for the past week or so, but I did manage to run the third in a series of IHW adventures before the campaign proper - With Friends Like These.

What started off as a tricky ship to ship rescue escalated into a complicated coastal rescue. I based the adventure on the stuff I got from here :

Just sharing :D

Awesome, David!

One of the best sessions I've had so far with IHW involved the rescue of the crew of a Spanish frigate from the reefs off Forminterra. Not having dennett rockets, the PCs had to go in amongst the rocks in the ship's boats, hauling the Spanish crew out in relays. They lost a boat and crew, and the middie in command, but they resued more than 3/4 of the Spanish crew before the frigate broke up. My group loved that adventure - they battled to save lives, not take them. It was a nice change of pace.

Besides, it earned them the thanks of the Spanish and the loan of two mortar vessels, which they used to destroy two Algerian fortifications covering the harbor they wanted to take. :D
