Hearts & Souls is a complete superhero role-playing game that takes you back to the comic books. Its "Drive" based system makes the reason your character is a hero more important to his success than stats and dice. Just what is Drive? It is a way to answer the question: Why are you a hero? So why would you do it? Were your parents murdered callously for some unscrupulous criminal to get his hands on their enormous wealth? Do you feel responsible for powers beyond your fellow man? Choose a drive, make it what matters, and be a hero.
Hearts & Souls, Print Edition, is a 6"x9" Slip-jacketed 134 page hardcover. For $25.00 USD

"I've seen earlier drafts of H&S and I will state that it's among the best superhero RPGs I've ever seen "--Cynthia Celeste Miller (Creator of Cartoon Action Hour)
A note on Lulu POD: 1) It takes 15 business days before it ships to you. Please be patient this is Lulu's manufacture time on print hardcovers. 2) The PC sheet in the back is hopelessly munged. I did my best but not much would fix it. Please download the superior PC sheet: http://www.silverlionstudios.greyearth.com/HS/HSPCsheet.pdf
Bought. Owned! Great work, Tim! :D

I'm curious. I have to wonder whether this would fit with my neverending quest for a Supers game that would actually satisfy my definitions of what supers games should be about; or if it would just be another disappointment...

If you liked T&J, you very well might like this, Pundit - not that they are so very alike, but they have the same attitude. As I've said before, T&J and H&S are the only two supers games that made me want to play supers.

wow.. really? Thank you very much! Is this a copy that the author wanted sent my way? Should I consider it an official review copy?
Shit, I'll almost certainly write up a review of it anyways, but I want to know out of curiousity.

Er. Well I did not say to send it but its only because I did not think of it. I'm not much a pimp. I should be but I'm not, I don't want to be intrusive on people *LOL*
But I approve of Flyingmice doing so, most certianly.
I hope you like it, I admit its not for everyone. It requires trust in your playgroup (a bit like Amber), and willingness to accept a few different abstractions (stress as the source of failure for example)
Nah - I just did it on my own. I have your address and all, and it's not like I can't afford it. :D

Such kindness should not go unrewarded. Email me your address clash and I will send you a print copy of Supers Inc. if you want.
