This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Recommend me a system for Attack On Titan or Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

Future Villain Band

Basically, I want a system that will do post-apocalyptic survival horror against giants, Draculas or Zombies or Frankensteins, with the protagonists as cool people with swords and gadgets.  Bonus points if it's steampunk-ish, I guess.

I've been watching anime with my daughter, and I figure it wouldn't suck to a run a game for her while summer vacation lasts.

Just vanilla Savage Worlds or is there a particular something I should grab with it?  Bear in mind, I have minimal Savage Worlds experience.

Omega

Big Eyes Small Mouth.

Or for some real crazy... Mekton. Just stat out the giants as if ot were a mecha.

hmm for kabaneri i'd probably use a fantasy ruleset and mix in some steampunk tech for the guns and such, the kabane are really just zombies that have a slightly tougher kill point than the usual beheading your regular ones have, maybe somethign with a hit location style combat system would work best for that though to better model the trickyness of getting a killshot if your not trained.

OneDice from Cakebread & Walton could be easily adapted. The basic rules are pay what you want on DriveThru and there is also a Steampunk version.
The system is a simple d6+attribute+skill vs target number. It provides surprising depth of play for such a light system. Very easy to add new stuff to or modify to taste.

Warboss Squee

I like OVA for anime based games.  It's very versatile and can cover almost every style.
